Official Wording
Point sparring stops the clock after each scoring strike for a judge's call; continuous sparring keeps fighting through exchanges, scored like a real match at the end of each round.
Parent Translation
These are two different games under one name. Point sparring is stop-start and lighter contact โ good for beginners. Continuous is closer to a real fight, flowing non-stop. Most kids programs start with point sparring.
